Dr. Anton Jorgensen is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon, he is fellowship trained at Rush University Medical Center in minimally invasive spine surgery and in adult spine deformity surgery. He trained at Shriners Hospitals for Children in pediatric scoliosis surgery. He served as the Chief of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) for five years where he specialized in treating active duty service members with the latest techniques in minimally invasive spine surgery and spinal disc replacement to return soldiers back to duty. He was a subject matter expert at BAMC for complex spine trauma and for complex spine deformity. He provided pediatric scoliosis treatment and surgeries for the children of active duty service members.

Dr. Jorgensen has served overseas in two deployments to Afghanistan and to Qatar. In his prior career as an aerospace engineer, he was assigned to Goddard Space Flight Center and worked on satellite thermal systems design. He enjoys translating his training as an engineer to develop customized and minimally invasive treatments to his patients. Dr. Jorgensen is an advocate for conservative care as the first-line treatment for spine pathology. He offers minimally invasive spine surgery when conservative care has not been effective. Dr. Jorgensen evaluates and treats pediatric scoliosis with bracing and with surgical correction.
