Dr. Burns’ Clinical study

Dr. Travis Burns was recently involved with a research study involving Multiple ligament knee injuries (MLKIs).

Multiple ligament knee injuries (MLKIs) represent a spectrum of knee injury patterns, involving multiple complex problems, long-term adverse effects, and a complicated recovery process. However, a widely accepted method of MLKI classification and high-level evidence on the surgical treatment for MLKIs is currently lacking. A recent paper published in The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery clarifies the clinical features and management strategies for MLKIs to facilitate better clinical decision-and enhance treatment outcomes.
